I’ve also come to realize that althought I don’t like to take scenic pictures, I actually take semi nice onces.

I think my first shoot went okay. I wish I’d had a better idea of how to pose them, but I did get a couple of shots I really like, and a couple of candid ones of them laughing. So overall, although it wasn’t the best, I would say that it seemed to be okay. While I was shooting them, I did meet a guy who has been taking pictures for two years and he kinda schooled me on aperture and whatnot, so i’ve been practicing with that a little. I’m kinda getting the hang of it but there is still a lot I need to learn. It was exciting to say the least.

I finished the props for my shoot and they look great! I can’t wait to share them, I’ll probably be a little m.i.a. picture wise for a couple days bc idk if I’ll have access to a computer. So expect a big post of pictures in the next few days or so. =]
P.s. Wish me luck on my engagement shoot! Super nervous!
AHHH!!! I’m so freaking excited. I’m shooting my first engagement shoot this weekend. Some good friends of mine are recently engaged and I’m going to be snapping their photos. I’m beyond excited about it and really can’t wait. I’m super nervous though, mainly because I really want my photos to come out and look professional and well done. I really want the shoot to run smoothly, so i’ve been researching poses and whatnot. I’m still not exactly sure about the location of the pictures, but i do know we will be in NY, so she’s gonna let me know where she wants to shoot them. I’m going to Michael’s today to get some stuff to make props and if they turn out the way I want them too, they’re gonna be really amazing. So be on the lookout for those! Also, if anyone has any advice for a beginner photographer shooting her first enagagement shoot, it would be greatly appreciated.
